Penrhiwceiber Rangers AFC

Meeting with Health & Safety representative.

Penrhiwceiber currently do not have any disabled supporters but in consultation with local Health & safety have verified ideal requirements for visitors and or regular disabled body.

There is access via straight run in and out of the ground with a drop off and pick up point outside main gate entrance, slight gradient on immediate entrance but manageable and in line with requirement, construction is of concrete and tarmac. Access to the main stand is via hard standing that is wide enough to take wheelchair of standard size, entry to the stand and the planned seating meets with FAW standard of width.

There are separate toilet facilities for disabled people for both male and female.

Entry is straight access with no steps, we recommend an alarm button be placed as ideal but not a requirement.

Access to the current tearoom has no steps and access can be gained for a standard wheelchair or walking stick/walkframe , we would recommend a corner set aside for disabled supporters minimum of two with access to the table with no obstruction, we have been advised that any food or drink will be brought to them with no requirement for them to be the queue which would prove difficult in current location.

The whole ground is on a flat with access to two sides of the ground via wheelchair users and three sides for able bodied support walking stick or walking frame, plenty of room for larger scale users behind the goal area immediately on entrance to the ground.
